Rugby is my passion. I have competed at the international level for close to a decade, with most of my focus on rugby 7s. I have competed in the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Cup and the World 7s Series.

I believe that you should follow a path that makes you happy – for me this was sport. I was captivated by sport from an early age, at the age of 6 years old I started playing rugby and throughout my youth competing at regional and international levels in rugby, netball, and basketball. At the age of 16 I joined Hartpury College in Gloucester, where I focussed on advancing my rugby skills on and off the pitch. During my final year of college I was selected for the 6 Nations 15s team, earning me my first 5 international caps and giving me the taste for competing alongside the world’s best players. After college, I was selected to be a part of the England 7s program which I have been part of since. In 2016 I competed in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games where we finished in 4th place. Being so close to a medal just made me more motivated to keep improving my skills. At the age of 20, I was brought into the leadership team and was made captain of the England 7s team; a position I held for many years including co-captain for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. During my career I have also competed in the 7s World Sevens Series, Commonwealth Games, a 7s World Cup, and played for the Loughborough Lightning 15s. My current focus is still competing at the highest level in rugby 7s, and using my experience to coach other athletes in developing a strong physical and psychological foundation.
